1. How have armour and weaponry changed over time?
2. A monopoly-style board with different weapons as the spaces
3. As each player moves around the board, they can learn how weapons have evolved
4. A Monopoly-style board game that everyone can have fun with, but learn at the same time.
5. The game is entertaining, yet it teaches the players about ancient and modern weaponry and the transitions in between.
6. Find many weapons, arrange them in the order they were used in history, arrange them into a monopoly-style game board.

ReplyDeleteThis is a fantastic idea -- good work! I have a couple quick questions:
Your research question talks about both armor and weapons, but the board game only focuses on weapons. Are you only going to focus on weapons, or will you focus on both weapons and armor? My sense is that weapons alone will keep you plenty occupied, but it's your call...
Is it your vision that the Monopoly board will also have some sort of timeline feature to it, too?
I'm looking forward to what you guys do with this -- I think you could have a ton of fun creating the Community Chest and Chance and property cards with this, too. Very creative! Well done!
I'm putting up similar comments over at Michael's blog, too...
